Nebial 3% is a nasal spray containing a 3% hypertonic saline solution with added Hyaluronic Acid. It has a decongestant action on the nasal mucosa as well as a mucus-thinning effect. It is recommended for the daily cleansing of the nasal cavities, especially in cases of colds, rhinitis, sinusitis, and in all situations of nasal mucosal congestion. The hyaluronic acid contained in Nebial 3% helps moisturize the nasal cavities and makes the saline solution more pleasant to use.
The solution is nebulized thanks to a specific device (BOV canister – Bag-On-Valve – with applicator).
Composition
Nebial 3% nasal spray contains:
Sodium chloride, Sodium hyaluronate, Dibasic potassium phosphate, Monobasic potassium phosphate, Water.
It contains no preservatives.
The BOV canister does not damage the ozone layer because it uses air as the propellant gas.
The solution can be dispensed in any position.
How to use
- Remove the protective cap from the top of the canister and insert the appropriate applicator.
- Keeping the head tilted to one side (never backward), gently insert the anatomical applicator into the upper nostril. Nebial 3% can be dispensed in any position.
- Press the applicator for a few seconds to release the product.
After turning the head to the other side, repeat the procedure in the other nostril. - Rinse the applicator thoroughly under running water before storing Nebial 3%.

It is recommended to use Nebial 3% for a period not exceeding 15 days, or as advised by a physician.

Why use a hypertonic solution?
- It has a salt concentration higher than that of our own cells

Why hyaluronic acid?
- It adheres to the mucosal surface and, by physiologically holding back water, it forms a protective film that provides relief to the irritated mucous
- The presence of hyaluronic acid of high molecular weight makes NEBIAL 3% particularly suitable for use in children
- Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally produced by the body, which has the task of maintaining tissue hydration; when in contact with the mucous membranes, it draws away liquid by osmosis, thus decongesting them
- It promotes the wetting of the nasal passages
