Bronconebial vials are an inhalation solution that can be used as a supportive treatment to reduce inflammation and relieve the symptoms of respiratory conditions, including allergic or non-allergic asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Bronconebial is a medical device containing Ectoin®, a natural molecule with anti-inflammatory properties and a protective, stabilising effect on cell membranes.
It can be administered using a piston or pneumatic nebuliser, a membrane mesh nebuliser, or an ultrasonic nebuliser (tested, for example, with Pari and Omron nebulisers).
Composition
One vial of Bronconebial contains:
32.5 mg of Ectoin®, sea salt and water.
No preservatives.
How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, inhale the contents of one vial (2.5 ml) using a nebuliser as needed, up to twice a day. Make sure the nebuliser is clean and free from impurities. Children aged 10 years or under must be supervised during inhalation.
- Detach one single-dose vial from the strip and open it by twisting the tab.
- Hold the opening of the single-dose vial over the nebuliser cup.
- Pour the entire contents into the cup by gently squeezing the vial. Due to the way the vial is manufactured, a small amount of liquid may remain inside.
- Use the nebuliser according to its instructions.
In children under 2 years of age, administering the inhalation solution containing Ectoin® may require special equipment (e.g. custom-fitted soft masks). Use the equipment recommended in the nebuliser instructions.
To ensure the product remains sterile, each single-dose vial must be used only once.
