BBmilk RISO PRO 1-3 years is a food for special medical purposes, indicated for the dietary management of toddlers who are allergic to cow’s milk or soy proteins. BBmilk Riso Pro 1-3 years has a low allergenic potential thanks to the enzymatically hydrolysed rice proteins (EU and non EU origin) which make up the entire protein content.
BBmilk Riso Pro 1-3 years cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. It is specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of toddlers from 1 to 3 years, to complement and integrate a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Composition
Maltodextrins, vegetable oils (palm, rapeseed, coconut, sunflower), hydrolysed rice protein (13.8%), glucose syrup powder, starch, mineral salts (calcium hydrogen phosphate, tripotassium citrate, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, magnesium carbonate, trisodium citrate, ferrous citrate, sodium chloride, zinc oxide, potassium iodide, copper gluconate, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate), emulsifiers citric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, sunflower lecithin; L-lysine, oil derived from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. Warnings and storage
- Breast milk is the best food for the infant and toddler and should be preferred and used even after the first year of age. If breastfeeding is not possible or sufficient, the child must be given food that is suited to her needs, after hearing the paediatrician’s opinion.
- BBmilk Riso Pro must not be administered parenterally.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 1-3 years must be used only under the Paediatrician’s supervision.
- Inadequate preparation and storage can lead to disorders or health risks for the child. Follow the instructions on the packaging carefully.
- It is recommended to prepare the product only at mealtimes and to consume it within two hours.
- Do not heat or boil the product once it has been prepared.
- Do not reuse any leftover product after the meal.
- Only use the measuring cup contained in the package.
- The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere.
Once opened, the package must be closed properly and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator); the product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
How to use
Preparation of the bottle or training beaker cup:
- Before preparation, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilise the bottle, teat and screw ring or training beaker cup.
- Boil the required amount of water and pour it in the bottle or training beaker cup at a temperature of 70°C.
- Level the scoop with the product, and do not pack it.
- Add the required number of level scoops of powder to the bottle or cup.
- Close the bottle or beaker cup and shake to dissolve the powder.
- Before giving it to your child, check the temperature on the back of your hand – the temperature should not exceed 37°C.
After use, wash and dry the measuring scoop accurately.
RECONSTITUTION TABLE
1 cup or bottle (approx. 260 ml of reconstituted product) = 240 ml of boiled water + 8 level scoops of BBmilk RISO PRO 1-3 years powder.
One level scoop of BBmilk RISO PRO 1-3 years is 4.8 g which equals 23.8 kcal.
Reconstitution of BBmilk RISO PRO 1-3 years is at 13.4% w/v and it is obtained by adding one level scoop of powder every 30 ml of water.
DOSES: As indicated by the Paediatrician, according to the child’s specific needs.
