BBmilk 1–3 years is a growing-up milk made from fresh pasteurised milk of Italian origin, specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of young children from 1 to 3 years of age, as a complement to a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
BBmilk 1–3 years is the milk that tastes like milk, designed to meet a child’s needs after the first year of life: made exclusively with fresh Italian pasteurised milk from selected farms.
With:
- Iron, which contributes to the normal cognitive development of children;
- Calcium and Vitamin D, which are important for the development of bones and teeth; in particular, Vitamin D and Zinc support the normal function of the immune system;
- Proteins in amounts appropriate to the nutritional requirements of children after the first year of life.
Without:
- Sucrose and fructose as added sugars;
- Flavourings;
- Palm oil;
- Preservatives*;
- Colourings*.

Composition
Fresh pasteurised milk with 3.2% fat (81%), demineralised whey powder, lactose from milk, vegetable oils (rapeseed, coconut, sunflower), maltodextrins, mineral salts (calcium hydrogen phosphate, trisodium citrate, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, zinc sulphate, tripotassium citrate, ferrous lactate, manganese sulphate, copper sulphate, sodium selenite, potassium iodide), vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, pantothenic acid, vitamin D, niacin, biotin, vitamin B12, thiamine, folic acid, vitamin B6, riboflavin, vitamin K), emulsifier: soy lecithin, FOS fermented by Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-5220*, L-cysteine.

Warnings and storage
- Breast milk is the best food for infants and young children and should be encouraged and used even after the first year of age.
- BBmilk 1–3 years must not be used as the sole source of nutrition. Consult your paediatrician for advice on the use of growing-up milk.
- Improper preparation and storage may cause disturbances or health risks for the child. Carefully follow the instructions provided.
- It is recommended to prepare the milk only at feeding time and to consume it within two hours.
- Do not reheat or boil the milk once prepared.
- Do not reuse any milk left over after feeding.
- Use only the measuring scoop provided in the pack.
- Once opened, the package must be properly resealed and stored in a dry place, away from heat sources (do not refrigerate).
- The product should be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
How to use
Preparation of the bottle or spouted cup
Before preparation, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilise the bottle, teat and retaining ring, or the spouted cup.
Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle or spouted cup once it has cooled to 70°C.
Fill the measuring scoop with level (not compressed) powder.
Add the prescribed number of level scoops of powder to the bottle or spouted cup.
Close the bottle or spouted cup and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
Before giving the milk to the child, check the temperature on the back of your hand; the milk temperature must not exceed 37°C.
After use, wash and dry the measuring scoop thoroughly.
METHOD OF RECONSTITUTION
1 cup or bottle (approximately 260 ml of reconstituted product) = 240 ml of boiled water + 8 level scoops of BBmilk 1–3 years powder.
One level scoop of BBmilk 1–3 years corresponds to 4.5 g, providing 21.6 kcal.
BBmilk 1–3 years is reconstituted at 13.4% w/v, obtained by adding approximately one level scoop of powder per 30 ml of water.
Suggested intake
500 ml of BBmilk 1–3 years spread throughout the day, at breakfast, snack time or as a drink, warm or cold depending on the child’s dietary habits.
The suggested amounts are indicative and depend on the advice of the paediatrician and the child’s age.
