BBmilk PDF is a food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants born preterm or with low birth weight at discharge should breastfeeding not be possible or sufficient.
BBmilk PDF is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants born preterm or with low birth weight at discharge. The formulation of BBmilk PDF is able to meet the specific nutritional needs of these infants due to its high calorie density and high protein content, which alpha-lactalbumin-rich whey protein and lactoferrin contribute to. It also contains MFGM (Milk Fat Globule Membrane), beta-palmitate, galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), and is supplemented with 2′-fucosyllactose (HMO), nucleotides and essential long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids.
